• ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
• ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
• ½ cup halal bone broth or water

Optional finish:
• 1 tablespoon awaze or additional niter kibbeh

Cooking Instructions

Step 1: Build the Base

Place the onion in a pan over low heat without oil.
Cook slowly for 8 to 10 minutes until soft, fragrant, and lightly sweetened.
Add a small splash of water if needed to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Infuse the Butter
