About Our Process
Our Process at Divine Foods
At Divine Foods, we follow a strict, faith-based process rooted in the principles of Zabiha Halal, ensuring that every step aligns with Islamic law and upholds the highest ethical and hygienic standards.
We begin by sourcing healthy, well-treated animals from trusted farms. Our team of practicing Muslims carries out every slaughter by hand, with no stunning—before or after—ever used. This ensures full compliance with Islamic guidelines and maintains the sanctity of the animal’s natural state.
Each animal is gently faced toward the Kaaba, the direction of Makkah, and the name of Allah (Bismillah, Allahu Akbar) is pronounced aloud before the cut. Using a sharp knife, we swiftly sever the trachea, esophagus, and both major arteries and veins in the neck, allowing the blood to drain completely—an essential part of the halal process that promotes cleanliness and health.
To further uphold spiritual and physical purity, the slaughter is performed over clean dirt, avoiding contamination and respecting traditional Islamic practices. Every step is conducted under USDA supervision and our own internal quality control to ensure both halal authenticity and food safety.
