Divine Beef Haleem Instructions

Ingredients
• 1 lb Divine Foods USA ground beef
• ½ cup cracked wheat (dalia)
• ¼ cup chana dal
• ¼ cup masoor dal
• ¼ cup mung dal
• 1 large onion, thinly sliced
• 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
• 1½ tablespoons haleem masala
• 1 teaspoon turmeric
• 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
• Salt to taste
• 6 to 7 cups water or Divine beef broth
• 3 tablespoons oil or ghee
Cooking Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Onions
Heat oil or ghee in a heavy pot over medium heat.
Fry sliced onions until deep golden brown.
Remove half and set aside for garnish.
Step 2: Cook the Divine Beef
Add ground Divine beef to the pot.
Cook until browned and fully broken down.
Step 3: Build the Flavor
Stir in ginger-garlic paste, haleem masala, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt.
Cook briefly until fragrant and well combined.
Step 4: Add Grains and Lentils
Add soaked cracked wheat and lentils to the pot.
Pour in water or broth and stir thoroughly.
Step 5: Slow Simmer
Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low.
Simmer for 45 to 60 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.
Step 6: Blend to Perfection
Using a hand blender or masher, blend until smooth, thick, and silky.
Simmer uncovered for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until the texture becomes rich and cohesive.
